A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
Hi there,
I grew up in New Zealand, spending most of my summers in the South Island. I’ve always been passionate about the outdoors and had many adventures hiking, biking, climbing, skiing and kayaking around the world. All of my best experiences have been out in nature having a great time with friends and family.
Back in the real world, I studied law and economics and spent 12 years working in the capital markets of London. I enjoyed my time in finance and learned a lot, but I always felt torn between my career, the desire to run my own business and spending more time in the outdoors.
When the opportunity came up, I took a leap into the unknown and became the proud owner of a cycle tour business based in Queenstown. I truly believe off-road cycling is one of the best ways to see our beautiful country. The business reflects what is important to me in life – sharing experiences with genuine people in the outdoors. And having fun in the process!
What I liked about the business was the real focus on providing the best experience for our customers, the attention to detail and the fantastic quality of our mountain bikes. Not to mention that our customers tend to be genuinely lovely people! I’ve been delighted to see our reviews have continued to be outstanding this season. I am firmly committed to maintaining our high standards as we take the business into its next stage of its journey.
